As I'm getting better at doing the felt food, etc., I, along with a friend, are considering doing commissions. So, what is the best place for this sort of art - here, Etsy, or both? Thoughts?

Apparently, my little cake has been featured in the latest Artisan Crafts Gallery: [link] Fantastic inspiration as I continue my quest! I got ahold of the Japanese felt sweets book that's been translated into English and already have the patterns for my next project sketched out - a few petit fours.

It's funny. I've had a DA account for years, but never quite knew what I wanted to do with it other than collect my favorites for several series (most prominent is Slayers). I've tried using it as an alternate dumping ground for fanfic, and I've posted up some of my rudimentary drawings and illuminations. I've been doing a lot more craftwork in the past few weeks, no thanks to a devious little enabler named ~earthstar and a sudden burst of creativity.

So, I've been revamping the DA account, removing old stuff that really doesn't fit here and starting to add my crafts. My regular journal, updated far more than DA journal entries is on LiveJournal. Enjoy the craftiness that is starting to emerge!
