So two years ago, I signed up for LibraryThing. Left it alone a bit. Felt myself starting to get dragged in. Then tonight, I ran into a dilemma. Force myself to absorb more bits for the GRE ... or spend my evening cataloging my library?

Yeah, I think we know what I chose!

This really is addicting, and it's been a very nice way to revisit my collection - some of which is still in boxes. I'm nearly through the tall bookcase, need to finish my English-translated manga, do all of the Japanese manga/novels other than Slayers (which was the first to get in the system) and then go tackle the two boxes of books in my bedroom.

Things I've observed while doing this:

1) I could use some more books. ^___^

2) It's apparent that I definitely wasn't a fan of the Technomage novel arc of Babylon 5 because those books aren't even in my collection. And I need a copy of Laurie R. King's "Beekeeper's Apprentice." Have most of the rest except "O'Jerusalem," because I just didn't care for that one overall. Also need "Locked Rooms."

3) There's only been a few that I've stared at them, questioned my sanity, then tossed them in the Bookmans pile.

4) I have to keep stopping myself from re-reading these things...

5) More books, please! ^___^
